De Inspiratiedag
Jaarlijks organiseert Kanaries in Actie met de partners uit de focusregio de Inspiratiedag. Het is een netwerk- en reflectiedag voor iedereen die op een professionele manier met dans bezig is in België: kunstenaars, kunstenorganisaties en gezelschappen, maar ook organisaties die op een socio-culturele of artistiek-educatieve manier werken binnen en buiten de podiumkunsten.
De Inspiratiedag werd in het leven geroepen vanuit de vraag hoe Dag van de Dans zich verder kan blijven ontwikkelen en waardevol kan zijn voor het dansveld. Het is een initiatief om samen te komen en met elkaar in gesprek te gaan over verschillende actuele thema’s in het dansveld. De komende editie van de Inspiratiedag wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met het Krokusfestival in Hasselt en vindt plaats op woensdag 14 februari 2024 met ‘Dans en jong publiek’ als thema van dit jaar.
Thema 2024: Dans & jong publiek ‘Mission in Motion’
Hoe kunnen we dans voor jong publiek zichtbaarder en aantrekkelijker maken voor een groter publiek? Vanuit verschillende perspectieven zoomen we in op vier inspirerende praktijkverhalen uit binnen- en buitenland. Elke spreker licht zijn eigen persoonlijke missie in het spelen, maken, produceren, faciliteren en spreiden van dans voor een jong publiek toe. Na de presentaties gaan we in kleinere groepen onderling verder in gesprek over de thema’s, vragen en noden die tijdens de presentaties aan bod kwamen.

Voor de Inspiratiedag trachten we de verschillende perspectieven van het dansveld samen te krijgen, ook die van dansmakers en dansers. We maken de gezelschappen en andere organisaties die met kunstenaars werken graag warm om een kunstenaar mee te nemen! Mocht het mogelijk zijn, voorzie een vergoeding voor hun deelname aan deze dag. Ook zelfstandige of individuele kunstenaars of freelancers willen we de kans bieden om op deze dag aanwezig te zijn. Mocht je nood hebben aan ondersteuning, contacteer ons en dan kijken we hoe we je kunnen helpen.
The Inspiration Day
Every year, Kanaries in Actie organises the Inspiration Day with partners from the focus region. It is a day to reflect upon our sector and its pressing challenges and an opportunity to network for everyone who is professionally involved with dance in Belgium: artists, arts organisations and companies, but also organisations that are active in the socio-cultural or artistic-educational within and outside the performing arts.
The Inspiration Day was created based on the question of how Dance Day can continue to develop and be valuable for the dance field. It is an initiative to come together and discuss various current themes in the dance field. The upcoming edition of the Inspiration Day is organised in collaboration with the Krokusfestival in Hasselt and will take place on Wednesday February 14 2024 with 'Dance and young audiences' as this year's theme.
Theme 2024: Dance & young audience ‘Mission in Motion’
How can we make dance for young audiences more visible and attractive to a larger audience? From different perspectives we zoom in on four inspiring cases at home and abroad. Each speaker explains his own personal mission in playing, creating, producing, facilitating and spreading dance for a young audience. After the presentations, we will continue discussing the themes, questions and needs that were touched upon during the presentations in smaller groups.

For the Inspiration Day we try to bring together the different perspectives of the dance field, including those of choreographers and dancers. We would like to encourage companies and other organisations that work with artists to bring an artist with them. If possible, provide compensation for their participation on this day. We also want to offer individual or self-employed artists or freelancers the opportunity to be present on this day. If you need support, contact us and we will see how we can help you.
La Journée d’Inspiration
Chaque année, Kanaries in Actie organise la Journée d’Inspiration avec des partenaires de la région cible. Il s'agit d'une journée de réseautage et de réflexion pour tous ceux qui sont professionnellement impliqués dans la danse en Belgique : artistes, organisations et compagnies artistiques, mais aussi organisations qui travaillent de manière socio-culturelle ou artistique-éducative au sein et en dehors des arts du spectacle.
La Journée d’Inspiration a été créée autour de la réflexion sur le développement de la Journée de la Danse, née d'une initiative de compagnies de danse de Flandre et de Bruxelles. Il s'agit d'une initiative visant à se réunir et à discuter de diverses thématiques actuelles du domaine de la danse. La prochaine édition de la Journée d’Inspiration est organisée en collaboration avec le Krokusfestival à Hasselt et aura lieu le mercredi 14 février 2024 avec pour thème cette année ‘Danse et jeune public’.
Thème de 2024: Danse et jeune public ‘Mission in Motion’
Comment rendre la danse pour jeune public plus visible et attractive auprès d’un public plus large ? Avec différents angles, nous nous penchons sur quatre histoires pratiques inspirantes du pays et de l’étranger. Chaque intervenant explique sa mission personnelle de jouer, créer, produire, faciliter et diffuser la danse auprès d'un jeune public. Après les présentations, nous continuerons à discuter en petits groupes des thèmes, des questions et des besoins qui ont été abordés lors des présentations.

Pour la journée d'Inspiration, nous essayons de rassembler différentes perspectives du domaine de la danse, y compris celles des chorégraphes et des danseurs. Nous aimerions encourager les compagnies et autres organisations qui travaillent avec des artistes à venir accompagnées d'un artiste. Si possible, prévoir une compensation pour leur participation à cette journée. Nous souhaitons également offrir la possibilité à des artistes individuels ou indépendants d'être présents lors de cette journée.
